24 kwietnia, godzina 18:00
A.D.A Puławska zaprasza:

Mowa więc będzie o Rojavie, walce z ISIS i niesłychanie złożonej dynamice relacji pomiędzy legalnymi i nielegalnymi organizacjami, strukturami państwowymi i autonomicznymi oraz napędzających to wszystko ideach.

Wydarzenie organizuje razem grupa kurdyjskich studentów w Warszawie i kolektyw Ady.

Informacja będzie jeszcze aktualizowana!

[english] Evening of Kurdish culture – benefit for reconstruction of Kobane

Traditional music, singing and (if you join!) dance of the Mesopotamia, than a movie and a discussion on the current socio-political situation in the region. What else might you want? Possibly local food, but we’re not sure yet if that works out. 😉

We’ll start at 6pm with a movie and a short discussion; we’ll talk about about Kurdish lands divided up between 4 countries, not much unlike Poland’s history. What might be even more interesting is how the currently painstakingly gained autonomy becomes a progressive project not only locally but globally. And so we’re going to discuss Rojava, the fight with ISIS and the immensely complex dynamics of relations between legal and illegal organisations, state and autonomous institutions and the ideas that keep it all running.

While we’ll still be talking, there’s already going to be musicians warming up on Ada’s stage. A brand new Kurdish-Polish project will present classical compositions from the region and will play throughout the entire evening!

Any money that we will manage to collect during the event will be passed to Kobane Reconstructing Board to be used for the reconstruction effort of a city almost totally destroyed during it’s heroic defense against the forces of the so called Islamic State.
The event is organised togather by Kurdish student group in Warsaw and ADA Puławska collective.
